December 5, 2005 - We are back home!! All 4 of us (including our cat Ziggy) are finally back at home. We have been gone for almost 2 weeks but we are now all back in 1 house. As you can imagine, I have LOTS of pictures so I will just let our family photo album tell the stories as to what we have been up to these past few days. Enjoy the photos!
November 21, 2005 - Well, we certainly had a busy weekend. These past couple of days have been filled with so many activities. Jamie's parents came into town Saturday while Josh headed down to Auburn for the big game!! WAR EAGLE!! What a great game! We spent Saturday evening celebrating Thanksgiving with Jamie's side of the family and Sunday Josh's family came into town for Caleb Davis' baby dedication at church. Sunday evening one of our friends was ordained as a decon at our church so after the service we went with some friends - ok, about 25 of us - to Logan's for a celebration dinner. We had so much fun this weekend and we are looking forward to spending more time with family and friends during the upcoming holiday season.

November 16, 2005 - I cannot believe it has been a week since I have updated our website. Well, we have certainly been busy. Last night our pastor and friend from Gordo, Pat Powell, stayed with us. Josh and I were able to attend our very 1st International Mission Board Missionary Appointment Service. (Caleb Davis went too!!) It was so eye opening to see the 89 men and women that were being appointed. Just knowing that they are about to head out into unknown parts of the world to follow the Lord and change history was just so amazing!! We were so blessed to be able to attend this service.

November 9, 2005 - Happy 6 Month Birthday Caleb Davis!! Wow!! It is so hard to believe that Caleb Davis is already 6 months old - 1/2 a year!! Time does fly when you are having fun!! He went for his 6 month check-up this morning. He weighed exactly 13 pounds and was 25 3/4 inches long. He has gained 16 ounces in the past 12 days and Dr. Jeff was thrilled with the results. He also received his 3rd and final round of immunizations today, plus a flu shot. He ended up with 8 different types of medicines and 4 shots. He only cried for a minute then he was back to his sweet self. He has some Tylenol in him now and he is taking a nap!!

November 5, 2005 - Josh and I just returned home from a Young Married Couple's Retreat this weekend. It was sponsored by our LIFE Group at church. We were able to spend lots of time with young couples from our church as well as our pastor and LIFE Group teachers. This was our 2nd year to attend this event and we had a lot of fun again this year. We are looking forward to next year!!
November 3, 2005 - Well, it is only 8:30 am this morning and we have all been up for about 3 1/2 hours already. Caleb Davis is now snoozing!! Be still my heart!!

October 31, 2005 - Happy Halloween! Josh and I had the best time dressing Caleb Davis up this afternoon for his 1st Halloween! He was a monkey and I think he enjoyed it. He smiled at himself in the mirror when we first put his costume on this afternoon.
October 28, 2005 - Praise God!! Caleb Davis went back to the doctor this morning and he gained 12 ounces in the past 7 days. YEAH!! He is now exactly 12 pounds. The doctor is very pleased with his results and said to keep doing what we are doing. We are now looking for him to increase in the weight percentiles when he goes back for his 6 month check-up. Thanks for all your prayers!!
October 21, 2005 - We took Caleb Davis to the doctor today. He is not gaining weight like he should be. The doctor is not happy with the results we have been getting so we are going to try a new feeding routine this week. If he has not gained weight by next Friday, they are going to run Metabolism tests to see what the problem is. He is such a happy baby. Josh and I truly believe he is doing great and growing at a healthy pace. He just may be skinny for his age!! Please pray for our family this week as we make decisions regarding how to feed him. Thanks!
October 16, 2005 - Caleb Davis ate his first meal with Sweet Potatoes. He loved them!
October 11, 2005 - Josh is in Connecticut this week on a business trip. Please pray for safety while he is away from the family this week.
