April 13, 2006 - Last night, we went over to Matthew and April's home for dinner. We had not seen them in several months and it was so nice to visit with friends. We have been busy around here this morning dying eggs and packing. We will be going out of town today to visit with family so please keep us in your prayers as we travel. Wishing you and your family a wonderful time celebrating Easter this weekend.

April 12, 2006 - Ahhhh Rest! You just do not realize how much you need or miss it until you have to go without it. We all had a great night last night. Caleb Davis woke up all smiles and he seems to be feeling much better. I am not sure if any of you watch the new game show Deal or No Deal. However, tonight on the show the models are going to be contestants from the Miss USA pageant. Well, it just so happens that a distant relative of ours, Cristin Duren, is Miss Florida and she will be one of the "Case Girls" tonight on the show. So if you have a chance be sure to check it out. The Miss USA pageant will be Friday, April 21st on NBC. We are headed out the door to finish up some last minute errands before we leave town tomorrow. Have a great Wednesday!

11, 2006 - We
had a rough night last night. Caleb Davis was restless all night. He
would sleep 30
- 45 minutes and then he would wake up crying. Needless to say, none of us
got much rest last night. He started running a fever around 6:00 am this
morning. The Tylenol seems to be working but he is still dealing with 101°
and 102°
fever. Please keep our little boy in your prayers. This has been our
1st time as parents to deal with a fever and it is a little scary for
us. We are headed to the doctor's office right now. I will keep you
all posted as soon as we return.
Update: We just returned home from the doctor's office this afternoon. Dr. Jeff said that if Caleb Davis was going to do something he was going to do it right. Well, that's our boy! He has infections in both of his ears. After the appointment, we stopped by the pharmacy to pick up his medicine. He has a new dose of Tylenol in him so I am hoping that will bring down the fever this afternoon. Thanks so much for all your sweet emails and guestbook entries. It means a lot to us knowing that you all are praying for Caleb Davis today. Have a great afternoon.

10, 2006 - Happy
. We hope you all
had a great weekend. We started out by riding out the storm Friday with
our friends Jarrett and Leigh. On Saturday, we went to the Grand Opening
of our friend Laura's new business - Lighthouse
Beadworks. Congratulations Laura! We
wish you much success on your new venture. Josh
and I were also able to watch another chapter of The Band of Brothers series
this weekend. Josh received the DVD set for Christmas and we are really
enjoying watching the series together. For the guy in your life who
enjoys history, I highly recommend it for their birthday, Father's Day, etc... .
After church Sunday, we
went to visit Jamie's aunt, uncle, and cousins in Athens and we also celebrated
Caleb Davis's 11 month birthday. It is so hard to believe that he is
already 11 months old. It seems like yesterday we were up doing those 3:00
am feedings and I was sad because he was already a month old - now he is 11
Months Old! Also,
please keep Jamie's parents in your prayers, they are vacationing in Savannah,
Georgia this week. They left this weekend and are having a great
time. My mom is attending Paula
Dean's Cooking School today. She has been excited about this for
months. Have a great week!

6, 2006 - Today
was such a nice day. We hope you were able to get outside where you live
and enjoy this nice weather. Caleb Davis and I were able to get out and do
a little shopping today and then when Josh arrived home we all went down to the
greenway behind our house for some exercise. Ok, Josh exercised and
trained for his upcoming 5k run while Caleb Davis and I strolled and listened to
the water and played with flowers. That counts as exercise, right?
There is supposed to be some bad weather coming through the Madison/Huntsville
area tomorrow afternoon and night. Please pray for our family and our home
tomorrow as we deal with this storm. Thanks!

April 5, 2006 - Our website is updated. Can you believe it? I am sorry but as you can tell from the lack of updates March was a very rough month for our family. I (Jamie) am finally starting to get over all the sickness due to the pregnancy and we are finally able to get some things done around here. For example, Josh and I just did our taxes last night. Talk about putting things off until the last minute!! I hope you all enjoy the updates and I promise not to fall behind on updating again.
