June 29, 2006 - Is it the 29th already? This month is flying by! We have been on the go so much these past few weeks. We are headed out this afternoon to Talladega for our friend Jay's wedding and then we will spend the rest of the weekend in Gordo with family and friends for an early Independence Day celebration before we head back home on Monday. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel the next few days. Thanks for visiting our family's website and please sign our guestbook. We would love to hear from you! Have a great weekend!
Website Updates: The Baby News section as well as our Family Photo Albums have been updated.
June 16, 2006 - Happy Friday Everyone! The weekend is here. YEAH!! I hope you all have big plans for the days ahead. Josh is working today and I did not schedule a Stop and Crop due to Father's Day weekend so it is kind of a "strange" Friday for us. We had plans to go home for Father's Day weekend but decided against that at the last minute. It is kind of nice staying in Madison 2 weekends in a row.
Oh, I almost forgot... I told you I would give a report on the Mexican Meatloaf that I made the other night. Well, let's just say that it tasted good but it was not the best looking thing. I think I added too much salsa and it was a little runny but I do recommend the recipe so try it out if you are looking for something new to cook.
Website Updates: I have updated the Baby News page and there are more new layouts in the Scrapbooks section. The quality is not the best but I hope you enjoy them.

- I know you are thinking: Wow! 2 updates in a row. Well,
I told you yesterday that I was going to do a better job at keeping our website
updated so do not act so surprised when you see changes this week. Caleb
Davis and I just retuned home from our Madison
MomTime meeting. We had a great time this afternoon and
the boys all had a blast playing with each other.
Josh is serving jury duty for the 1st time this week. He finished up his 1st case yesterday afternoon and he is currently "on call" in case they need more people to serve this week. The funny thing is that he is on there with a friend from our church and they are having a blast together. Yesterday afternoon, they spent most of the day observing in divorce court.
I
am trying a new recipe this afternoon. Click here
to see what we are having for dinner tonight. Wish me luck! I will let
you know how it turns out tomorrow.

- Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego? Do you guys remember
that show? I used to have the computer game when I was young and just loved it. It
helped me with my geography and as many of you know I am very geography
handicapped.
So, where in the world have the Elmores been? I know that is what many of you have been wondering these past few weeks. Well to be honest, we have been here and there and staying very busy this summer. Is it even officially summer yet? I am sure you and your family are same way. It always seems like summer is one of our busiest seasons. Speaking of summer plans, we would love to hear what you have planned for this summer. Please sign our guestbook to let us know what you are up to this summer. Thanks for being patient with us and I will do my best to keep our website caught up.
Speaking
of crazy summer plans, Josh and I have decided not to watch television this
month. The
only exception is Caleb Davis' Baby Einstein DVD once a day during nap time.
It has really been a blessing so far. I am finding so much more time
during the day and it is keeping all the "junk" out of our home. You
should try it!!
Website Updates: There are lots of updates this time around since I have neglected our family's website these past few weeks. I hope you enjoy these updated pages: Baby News, Family Photo Album, Website Links, and of course the Photo A Day page. I have also updated the Scrapbooks page and added lots of new recipes to my Recipe Scrapbook. I made the Crock Pot Chicken and Rice for dinner tonight and it was delicious!
Just A Little Something Extra...
Since you have all waited sooooo long for an update, I thought I would share something a little extra special today.
Just look at where we were 1 year ago and where we are now. The changes are simply amazing!
